We were in Taipei for a few days at a book show so weren't able to post much about what was going on at the house. Mini Lee finished the front fence. I think it looks great and am wondering why we don't do this style of fence the whole way round.
No. that is not the final colour for the gate.
Some more work done on the garage. The plywood here will be covered with cement boards next week. We had hoped it would be done today but the rain prevented any work getting done.

We got our 100 free trees this week. I have no idea what the local government is thinking but am not questioning it at all. We got 80 七里香 trees. We have no idea how to say that in English but they make a nice hedge. We'll plant them tomorrow. And we also got a bunch of other trees that will go in somewhere around the yard tomorrow too.
