Outdoor Kitchen

Ivy is always checking out this kickarse website which has some great ideas. This was one that came up today. Not sure if we can do it off our deck or not. It wouldn't be something we could get done immediately but just a cool idea for the future.

外觀

其實我對我們房子的外觀一直有些意見

但形狀不能更改(因為建商設計的房子有點俗)
這是建商已完成的案子
我們房子主體將會這個樣子(如果完全不改，按照建商的原設計稿)
Ivy and I have been thinking for ages about what to put on the outside walls. The photo below is of a house that is almost the identical same shape as ours. But we don't really like the look of it. The brown on the right is essentially bathroom tiles and the white is made up of lots of tiny little white stones. We want something that looks cool and is not too expensive. 

以這樣的外觀

到底要用什麼材質風格困擾了我們很久

看了附近其他房子，幾乎都是洗石子

建商也是設計成洗石子外觀

這就讓我更不想用洗石子了

上網收尋了一陣子

看到這個位在韓國的咖啡廳

覺得，這好像跟我們未來的房子外觀有點....相識(正面二樓陽台凸出來那塊)

打掉那些建商設計的一些很多餘的裝飾

配上簡單線條的欄杆

一樓復古地磚

應該部會差到哪去吧

不過.............

我們應該要跟建商奮鬥一陣子

他似乎覺得我們很囉嗦了.....

The two pics below are off a cafe in Korea. We think it rocks. It's very simple with just a cement finish. The part sticking out on the right is wooden and that could replace the brown bathroom tile bit on the above picture. It's not set in stone yet but this is basically what we are leaning towards doing. 

我只要開始在腦子裡構想這樣的配置搭上我們的

鐵製摺疊們..........哇~多有質感啊(興奮中...)

Shape

The wooden cement struts have mostly been removed now. There are still some inside supporting the staircases as they dry but the remainder on the outside of the house are gone so now we can get a better idea of the final shape of the house.
房子的主體完成了，板模也幾乎都拆除了
那個該死的頂樓牆壁裝飾(頂樓屋簷像皇冠的@#%)
也做好了..............來不及跟建商說不要多做那部分...(我覺得那個很醜)
因為電話裡說不清楚...他聽不懂......
在猶豫要不要叫建商敲掉.....
今天跟建商吵架了
因為明明跟他約好今天三點在現場看房子
順便跟他說他忘了一些小細節沒有修改到
還有要挑窗框，窗框也只跟我們說只有幾個顏色可以挑......
等到三點半沒人來(每次都遲到)
打電話問，說他在辦公室等我們
簡直就是豬頭一個ㄇ
把老娘惹火了
以後可就沒這麼好說話了

Third floor

Third floor going in.

The cement trucks arrived today to fill in the walls for the third floor. Three lined up here plus another in the yard at work.

No idea what this guy was up to. But seemed happy in his work.
很開心喔~

Third floor

Here are a couple of shots from the outside now that work is progressing on the third floor.
我們房子的主體應該在3月底就可以完成了
之後就是泥作進場啦
雖然外觀並不是完全是我想要的
但也可圈可點嘍

Roof top patio

The third floor of the house is really only a half floor. There will be one bedroom and one bathroom here only and the rest of the space will be an open patio. From these photos it kind looks like there will be walls. The walls are there but have huge 'windows' framing the view.
工程已經到三樓了
三樓只有一間房間跟浴室
其餘的空間就是大陽臺啦
我們三樓陽台並不是做女兒牆
有點像是沒有屋頂的房間
有牆壁預留窗框，以後加蓋很方便
未來
三樓陽台我們想要做個庭園造景
配上木造平台，放些舒適床墊、抱枕....
夏天晚上可以在頂樓看星星浪漫一下喔~(要點很多香茅油驅蚊)
還有露天電影院喔!!

Third floor staircase

The staircase to the third floor has been put in.
有一個禮拜沒去看房子了
昨晚聽爸說二樓灌漿灌好了
二到三樓的樓梯也完成了
真的......很快!!

Concertina Door

Our plan to have a concertina door running off the kitchen onto the deck has been a bit of a problem from the very get go. We asked the construction boss if it could be done and he said no way. It was impossible because he had never done it before. Everyone we have spoken to about it has said it will be problematic due to typhoons and rains ability to sneak through cracks that will be numerous as it is a concertina door. Then there was the cost. It was gonna be prohibitively expensive to do it in wood. We had the option of doing it in aluminium but that will be ugly. At the moment we have this big space.

當我們確定要在廚房與戶外平台的連結牆壁做成折疊門，
並與建商溝通時，他說他從沒做過且不可能做得成
說這是國外的東西，國外沒有颱風也很少下雨，這樣才適合做
之後，我們也詢問了友人，友人說:可以做，但會很貴且也是會有颱風跟雨的問題

We want the deck and the kitchen floor to be at the exact same height so when the door is completely open the line between indoors and outside is blurred.
房子完工後，平台高度將會與廚房地板一樣高，
開趴時，摺疊門一開.....哇~~
戶外平台跟廚房將會是相通的，整個空間感會差很多
客廳連結到廚房(客廳跟廚房也是開放式空間)、木造平台+戶外草皮
實在是太吸引人了
所以....我們決定還是要做折疊門
Anyway, we were at a cool restaurant called Toasteria in Taipei on Sunday and found this door.

It's metal but not aluminium. It had kind of a brushed metal finish. From a distance it looked like wood. It might be the solution to the problem!

上週末去台北師大商圈裡的一間叫土斯利亞的餐廳
困時發現他們有做折疊門!!!
且是用鐵做成的
真是太酷了，看到這個折疊門後
我們的摺疊門一定可以成功!!

Downstairs

The construction workers have cleaned a lot of the building materials out of downstairs which gives us a better idea of how big it is going to be and and will allow a bit of planning for furniture and the like.

因為二樓以完成灌漿，所以一樓的支撐架收起來一半以上挪到二樓
木板也都清理掉了
現在一樓空間看起來更佳明朗

2nd Floor Cemented

The wooden supports for both sides of the walls on the second floor are in and the walls have been filled. From these photos you can sort of see the ceiling going in as well.
二樓完成灌漿了
感覺上.....三樓是不是月底就完成了呢...

Rear balcony.

The master bedroom has a small balcony. And this photo is taken from the balcony looking through one of the windows. It's a nice spot but not really sure what it will be used for.

We got stairs.

Staircase is in. Bit rough at the moment but easier than climbing the scaffolding.

Ivy bought coffee along to help celebrate no longer having to climb up scaffolding.

Bedroom window view.

We went out early this morning to check out the house. After days and days of rain on end, we finally have had a couple of nice days. Looks like having a bigger window in the bedroom is gonna be a great idea. Awesome view of the mountains this morn.
今天特別早起，在上班前先去看了一下房子，
下了好幾天的雨今天終於有個好天氣(可能是知道我們今天早上要去看家吧)
二樓主臥的窗戶加大後，視野更好了
